Volunteer in your Community!

By registering with local Public Health Emergency Response teams, you become a partner in this vital effort to help our community recover more quickly from an emergency.  Experience shows that a local community must be able to sustain itself for the first 72 hours after a disaster until outside help can arrive. In a large-scale disaster or widespread public health situation, a trained team working in coordination with strategically mobilized resources can provide the assistance that may be the difference between life and death.

By joining the Public Health volunteer effort; you will primarily assist your county´┐Żs response to a crisis, but will also be a part of a larger operation throughout our community.  Everyone has a special skill that can help the overall response, and additional training will be provided to best utilize your experience to the greatest good.

Thank you for joining your neighbors in response to what may come next. You will help make a difference in your community!  Select the county in which you wish to volunteer and contact the individual listed.  For more information about assisting your community in a disaster, email us at:
